MVNU2MSU

MVNU2MSU (Moving You to MSU) welcomes students to their new homes by creating an easy transition into campus living. More than 200 volunteers will be on hand to check in students, direct traffic, assist with unloading cars, and help move students' belongings into their rooms. Students begin their day by checking in at Humphrey Coliseum and filling out basic paperwork; from there, they will be directed to their residence halls.

Dawg Daze BBQ with a Global Twist
Time: 6:30 p.m.Location: Sanderson Center (in the event of rain, the BBQ will be inside the Sanderson Center)
After a long, hot day of moving into your residence hall, join us for dinner at the Sanderson Center. The menu includes pulled pork, chicken, beans, cole slaw, and drinks. And for dessert, members of MSU's various international student organizations will offer sweet treats from their native countries. Also, there will be live entertainment from one of the top local bands, "Jamie Davis and Soul Gravy."

Cribz Competition

The Department of Housing and Residence Life is looking for the most creative "homes away from home." Do you consider yourself to be traditional, classic Victorian, modern, country, or rustic? Are you inspired by other cultures? Show off your unique decorating style and enter your room in the MSU Cribz contest. Judges will review all rooms and winners will be awarded prizes for the best overall decorated room according to room type: community bathrooms (such as Rice), private bathrooms (such as Hurst), and apartments (for example, Arbour Acres).
To enter, download and complete an entry form (also available at the front desk of each residence hall). Submit the form to your hall's front desk no later than Sunday, August 17, at 5 p.m.!
Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony Wednesday, August 20, at 7 p.m. in the lobby of Ruby Hall.
